How to request deletion
- Send an email
Email us from the address associated with your account at info@vietknowledge.nz.
- Identify the request
Use the subject “User data deletion request” and include your account display name. Do not send your password or identity documents in the initial email.
- Verify account ownership
We may require reasonable verification before deletion to protect the account from unauthorised requests.
- Receive confirmation
We will confirm completion or explain if limited records must be retained for legal, safety, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution reasons.
What will be deleted
Profile information, the Facebook connection, listings and account content will be deleted or anonymised as appropriate. Data in protected backups may remain for a limited retention cycle before being overwritten.
Disconnecting through Facebook
You may also open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → VietKnowledge NZ → Remove. This stops future Facebook access; still submit the request above if you want information held by VietKnowledge NZ deleted.
